Sky V

Available in 5 water resistant and dust tight form factors with IP rating 68*, Phonak Sky V is the latest addition to our paediatric portfolio.

On the proven performance of our signature Venture platform, Sky V introduces ground-breaking features and technologies, specifically optimised to address kids’ and teens’ diverse communication needs.

Sky V features optimised hearing performance with; SoundRecover2, AutoSense Sky OS, Roger and directional setting, a new light indicator perfect for neonatals and a new xUP receiver for Sky V-RIC.

*IP68 indicates that the hearing aid is water resistant and dust tight. It survived continuous immersion in 1m of water for 60 minutes and 8 hours in a dust chamber as per the IEC60529 standard, no traces of dust were evident within the housing.

The next generation of SoundRecover further improves speech audibility and utilizes an adaptive frequency lowing algorithm. Sound quality of mid and low frequencies are maintained while high frequency sounds are made audible.

This creates an optimal listening experience for more users.

AutoSense Sky OS

Based on the successful Venture chip technology, AutoSense Sky OS is optimized for children. It accurately captures and analyzes the sounds of a child’s environment, precisely blending feature elements from multiple programs in real-time, to provide a seamless listening experience.

Indicator Light

The new and easy to understand indicator light provides parents and caregivers with a clear status of a child’s hearing aid.

The indicator light visibly confirms the hearing aid is powered on, the Roger program is active and also warns of a low battery.

RogerReady makes adding a Roger receiver to a hearing aid easier than ever before. Without the need for additional programming, devices with direct audio input automatically detect the signal from a Roger microphone and activate the ‘Roger + Mic’ program.

Roger and directional setting

For the first time in any device, children now have access to the proven benefits of directional microphones throughout their day when using Roger. In Phonak Target, the program ‘Roger + Mic’ offers a choice of three microphone modes; omnidirectional, Real Ear Sound and an automatically activated fixed directional.

Offers an expanded dynamic range, slow compression speed and more gain for a fuller and richer music experience.

Comfort in Noise

Actively reduces noise for increased comfort when no speech is present

Speech in Noise

Adapts and reduces noise from behind in real time and applies and optimizes the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) in noisy environments.

Calm Situation

Provides optimal gain for speech understanding and listening comfort when engaging in one-on-one conversations in quiet.

Speech in 360º

Automatically selects the direction of speech and streams this to the other ear, improving speech intelligibility without the need to face the speaker.

Speech in Loud Noise

Zooms in on a single voice in a diffuse noisy environment, improving speech intelligibility.

Acoustic phone

The key feature DuoPhone streams the signal in real time to the other ear so the caller’s voice is heard in both ears with an average benefit of 3.1 dB SNR.

SoundRelax cushions otherwise unpleasant impulse sounds without affecting speech clarity or causing unnatural perception of other sounds.

WindBlock utilizes a wind identification and classification system, that automatically and adaptively suppresses wind noise.

Improves understanding on the phone by automatically streaming the caller’s voice to the other ear, so that the voice is heard in both ears simultaneously.

FlexControl personalizes AutoSense OS, transforming the simple action of turning a control up or down into a powerful adjustment tool.

Flex Volume

Flex Volume shapes the gain curve in a frequency dependent manner, resulting in increased clarity when more volume is required.

Real Ear Sound

Real Ear Sound simulates the performance characteristics of teh pinna. This restores localization and the ability to experience natural sound perception.

RogerReady makes adding a Roger receiver to a hearing instrument easier than ever before.

Roger and directional setting

For the first time in any device, children and adults now have access to the proven benefits of directional microphones throughout their day when using Roger.

WhistleBlock differentiates between naturally occurring feedback-like sounds and true feedback. This means increased audibility and sound quality that is free from annoying feedback.

Noise Block Processing is particularly effective at reducing uncomfortable environmental noise.

One touch on the program selection button or volume control results in instant identical change in the other instrument.

Auto Acclimatization

Auto Acclimatization is used to automatically increase the client’s amplification, while the client is using the device.

Acoustically Optimized Venting (AOV) reduces occlusion to the lowest level possible by optimizing the fitting calculation.
